JAMMU: Gandhi Global Family (GGF) J&K remembered the inspiring legacy of Didi Nirmala Deshpande on the eve of her death anniversary at Jammu.

The event witnessed participation from distinguished members and peace activists.
GGF J&K Advisor Lt. Gen. Rakesh Sharma highlighted Didi’s role in promoting national integration and peace through non-violence.
GGF General Secretary Adv. Ram Mohan Rai, joining virtually from Amsterdam, emphasized her lifelong commitment to Gandhian ideals and her efforts to bridge regional and cultural divides.
GGF J&K President Dr. S.P. Varma recalled her tireless work for communal harmony and upliftment of marginalized communities in India and South Asia. Dinesh Gupta, General Secretary GGF J&K, delivered the formal vote of thanks. Prominent attendees included Kartar Singh, Dr. Alka Sharma, Er. S.K. Vaid, Robin Robert Gill, Manish Joshi, Soba Ram, Ved Verma, Sumi Seth, Parvinder Kaur, and several other dignitaries and peace workers who paid rich tributes to Didi’s enduring legacy.
