JAMMU: The government on Tuesday appointed S J M Gillani (IPS) as Special DG Coordination, PHQ, and given additional charge to Alok Kumar (IPS).
According to the order issued by Chandraker Bharti, Principal Secretary Home Department, S.J.M Gillani, IPS (1994), MD, J&K Police Housing Corporation, holding the additional charge of Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Special DG Coordination PHQ. He shall continue to hold the additional charge of MD, J&K Police Housing Corporation.
“Alok Kumar, IPS (1997), Director, J&K Fire and Emergency Services, shall hold the charge of Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF, J&K, in addition to his own duties,” reads the order.
