JK Public School Panjtirthi celebrated World Heritage Day to raise awareness among students about preserving our heritage sites.

The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah addressed the jakiians and commenced the celebration by lauding “Our Heritage, Our Wealth”.
She urged the students to preserve monuments and cherish them as the foreteller of the past .
She further remarked, “Our natural and cultural heritage are both irreplaceable sources of life and inspiration. The objective behind conducting this celebration was to enlighten students about the value and significance of our heritage.”
Puja Sharma, the celebration incharge, spoke to the students about the true meaning of heritage, its importance and the need of its preservation. She briefed the audience that celebrating World Heritage Day is an opportunity to emphasise upon the importance of safeguarding, conserving, and preserving our heritage.
A beautiful skit was showcased on seven incredible and famous heritage of the world.
A quiz on Heritage Day was conducted by the Principal. She asked the students about the varied facets of heritage which includes forts, palaces, burials, animals, birds, festivals, fairs, dances, music, textiles etc. The winners of the quiz were rewarded by the Principal. Jakiians recited a poem titled “Natural and cultural heritage”.
