JAMMU: The Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council (JKSC) on Wednesday conducted selection trial for the upcoming Khelo India Beach Games (KIBG) Volleyball Tournament 2025, scheduled to be held in Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu from May 19 to May 24, 2025.

The trial was held at MA Stadium, Jammu, to shortlist players for the coaching camp and eventual participation in the Khelo India Beach Games. The selection committee, constituted by the J&K Sports Council, included Balbinder Singh (DSO Jammu), H.S. Gill (Executive Vice-President, Volleyball Association of J&K), and Kuldip Magotra (CEO, Volleyball Association of J&K).
Following an intensive selection process, the committee has selected Imtiaz Ahamed, Syad Asgar, Amir Majeed and Taimoor Ahmed to represent J&K in the tournament. The final team was screened by Balbinder Singh (DSO Jammu, JKSC) in the presence of the selection committee members.
The team will depart from Jammu to Daman & Diu on May 16, 2025, to participate in the national event.
Raj Daluja, Patron-in-Chief of the Volleyball Association of J&K, along with President Sidharth Daluja and other office bearers, extended their heartfelt best wishes to the players and expressed confidence in their performance at the Khelo India Beach Games.
The Volleyball Association and J&K Sports Council commended the dedication and hard work of the selected athletes and encouraged them to bring laurels to the Union Territory.
