SAMBA: Samba Police on Sunday arrested the main accused involved in an attempt to murder case registered at Police Station Vijaypur and recovered a Desi Katta from his possession.
As per police report, on April 20, 2025 one person namely Shivdeep Singh, son of Kuldeep Singh, resident of Suchani Bagla, Tehsil Vijaypur, District Samba has lodged a written complaint at Police Station Vijaypur stating therein that 05/06 persons with criminal intention having firearms had attempted to eliminate him at village Rahya Vijaypur.
Acting over the complaint, police official said, a case FIR No. 42/2025 under Sections 109/307/ 324(4)/115(2)/351(2)/191(2) BNS, 3/25 Arms Act was registered at Police Station Vijaypur.
During the course of investigation, a police team headed by SHO PS Vijaypur under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur and under the overall supervision of SSP Samba based on human intelligence and technical assistance, arrested the main accused Vishal Sharma alias Vishu alias Shooter, son of Bishan Dass, resident of Khojipur Kheri, Tehsil Bishnahm District Jammu and a Desi Katta has been recovered on his disclosure, official said adding that further investigation of the case is going on.
