Srinagar- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday said that he discussed Kathua and Sopore incidents with Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his recent meeting with him in New Delhi. 

After meeting the fire-affected family at Beehama in Central Kashmir the Chief Minister said that his meeting with the Home Minister went well. “Multiple issues, including Kathua and Sopore incidents, were discussed.

We have sought transparent probe into both the cases. We are hopeful that those involved in these incidents will be dealt with strictly,” he said, as per news agency KNO.

“We discussed restoration of J&K’s Statehood and also the upcoming Budget Session of J&K Assembly,” he said.
